Newfangled fluff? History will disagree. The use of gems and crystals to vitalise water is a practice that dates back to ancient Greece. For years Ewald Eisen, inventor of VitaJuwel, placed gemstones directly in his drinking water, but was annoyed by the crystals dulling over time. After sleepless nights, dozens of drawings and numerous meetings with Bohemian glass craftsmen, in 2007 he began to revive this centuries-old technique, reinventing it with a safer, more hygienic approach suitable for using daily.
