100% VEGAN
A very common animal component in most beauty and cosmetics products is Carmine Red which is a gorgeous deep red derived by crushing the female cochineal insect. Reportedly, 70,000 of these insects have to be killed just to produce one pound of this red pigment!

It was painful for Nail Deck to remove this from their list of raw ingredients as it meant that they would not be able to produce certain shades of red. However they take the 100% Vegan stand very seriously; and believe you do too.
